Mein Name ist Isabella Schmidt und der Rhodesian Ridgeback ist seit fast drei Jahrzehnten meine Leidenschaft. Ich bin dieser Rasse total verfallen, ebenso wie meine Familie (mein Ehemann Marco und unser Sohn Tom). Wir lieben das Leben mit den Ridgebacks und haben aktuell einen aktiven Deckrüden. 

Als ordentliches Mitglied im VDH Club E.L.S.A. nehme ich regelmäßig an Schulungen und Weiterbildungen teil, auch über das geforderte Maß hinaus. Wissen ist mir sehr wichtig, die Medizin und Wissenschaft entwickeln sich rasant.

Auch auf Ausstellungen im In-/ und Ausland sind wir zu sehen, allerdings nicht soo häufig wie andere.

Wir sind eher im Wald und Feld, in der Sandkuhle, auf dem Reitplatz oder gar im Altenheim als Besuchs- und Streichelhund unterwegs.

My name is Isabella Schmidt, and the Rhodesian Ridgeback has been my passion for almost three decades. I am completely devoted to this breed, as is my family (my husband Marco and our son Tom). We love life with Ridgebacks and currently have an active stud dog. As a full member of the VDH Club E.L.S.A., I regularly participate in training and continuing education courses, even beyond the required level. Knowledge is very important to me; medicine and science are developing rapidly. We can also be seen at exhibitions both at home and abroad, although not as often as others. We are more often out in the woods and fields, in sandpits, on the riding arena, or even in retirement homes as visiting and petting dogs.
